We attended both the Manager's session on Wednesday and the Salespersons' session on Thursday. He actually came over to our table Wednesday, sat down with the three of us, and talked. As is always the case, we thought of the three thousand things we should have asked him much later. The unanimous decision was that it was worth every penny of money and every moment of time. Gitomer did not disappoint.
We don't think you should ever stay at a Sheraton Hotel - unless it's the only way you can see Gitomer, of course. When we expressed dissatisfaction to the manager he told us how wonderful the Gitomer event was, declared that he had attended the seminar, then refused to budge, or offer any concession, over a number of "misunderstandings" thereby permanently losing our business. So, the bottom line is that all the "education" in the world won't help you if you don't put it to use.

Git wore his trademark red shirt on Thursday. Racheal got a close look at it.
July's rained-out cook-out but tons of fun bookclub:

Life is Stupid Starts:
We're pleased to announce the first brand new business launched by a Business Book Club member! Jeff Cosman's Life Is Stupid signature designer T-Shirt business is off the ground. Jeff, his wife, and other members of their family are ll extremely creative so other lines will be coming. Baby Bear Play Wear will be a children's line and T-Shirt Junkie will bring yet another view of life.
The premise of Life is Stupid is that stupidity is universal - it happens to everyone - and the best way to deal with it is to laugh about it! Jeff says he's taken most of the events from his own life. They can be viewed, and purchased, at www.lifeisstupid.com.
